Trade owner interview
A written, async owner interview for practical operations stories — pricing honesty, hiring, callbacks, slow season — with full approval before publish, profile link, and a durable page you can reuse in your own marketing.
Format and time
The interview is written async Q&A, not a podcast slot or a cold call. You receive a focused question set, answer in your own words on your schedule, and typically spend twenty to thirty minutes total spread across a few days if you need breaks.
Topics skew operational: how you build rates, how you handle callbacks, what you learned hiring your first apprentice, how you survive slow season without racing to the bottom on price. We are not looking for motivational poster quotes.
Video is optional later; text comes first so you can approve every sentence.
Approval before publish
Nothing goes live until you approve the final text. Drafts are between you and our editor until you sign off. You can refuse any question, skip sensitive numbers, or ask for redactions.
We do not sell your quotes as leads. The story is editorial content labeled as such — not pay-for-play advertising dressed up as journalism.
Publication is usually within two weeks of your approval, depending on editing queue and any fact-checking we do on numbers you cite.
What you receive
You get a durable story page on True Trade Path with a link to your profile, plus optional pull quotes you may reuse on your website or social channels — link back appreciated but not required as a condition of participation.
Homeowners may follow the profile link; we do not pass homeowner emails to you from the story itself. Traffic is organic, not brokered.
There is no payment for participation. The value is exposure, credibility, and a piece of content you actually approved.
How outreach works
This page is the landing link from email outreach so you can verify the program before you reply. No cold call is required to participate.
To volunteer without an outreach email, use /contact with “interview” in the subject and a sentence about your trade and market. We prioritize owners with concrete operational detail, not generic marketing language.
If you prefer to stay anonymous on sensitive topics, discuss options with us before drafting — we prefer named businesses but understand legitimate privacy concerns.
